Chris Lattarulo starts his first year with Iona College as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach under the guidance of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Kelly Shaver. Shaver announced Lattarulo’s appointment in February 2017.
Lattarulo spent the 2016 fall semester as a strength and conditioning intern at nearby Manhattanville College. With the Valiants, Lattarulo assisted with offseason and preseason training with the women’s basketball, women’s hockey, men’s basketball and softball programs.
Prior to his internship at Manhattanville, Lattarulo was a four-year member of the Valiants’ baseball program as a designated hitter. The Armonk native played in 33 games his senior year with 21 starts to finish his career with 80 games played while tallying 31 career hits along with 18 runs, 16 RBI and three homeruns.
Lattarulo graduated from Manhattanville in 2016 with a degree in Business Management while minoring in History. In addition to his strength and conditioning background, Lattarulo has also spent the past six year as a head instructor for Chris Lemonis Baseball, running camps, practices and clinics.
