During the first week in October (10/3-10/7), the Iona College women’s volleyball team collected pledges and donations for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.  The Gaels wore pink t-shirts as they collected the pledges and donations.  They also wore pink jerseys to honor breast cancer awareness during their game vs. Manhattan on Sunday, October 9th, each dig earned during their game, received a donation.  The Gaels not only defeated Manhattan but they were able to raise more than $200 to donate to the foundation.
