CULLOWHEE, NC - A strong hitting outburst and early runs gave the Western Carolina Catamounts a 22-2 victory over the Iona College baseball team in the second game of the three-game set on Saturday afternoon at Hennon Stadium. 

Seniors C James Beck and 1B Michael Chiaravalloti each had the Gaels’ only runs batted in on the afternoon.

Western Carolina was led by lead-off hitter SS Aaron Attaway with six hits and six RBI.
