NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona College Athletics will host its first ever Cut It For Cancer Head Shaving Station this Saturday (Feb. 9) from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm outside the Hynes Athletics Center.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Day, fans who come down and shave their head will receive a free ticket to the 50/50 raffle being held during the basketball doubleheader. All proceeds from the 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Play4Kay Foundation, which supports Breast Cancer research.
The Cut It For Cancer Head Shaving Station is sponsored by Prestige Barber Shop at 614 North Avenue in New Rochelle.
The women's basketball team takes on Rider at 4:00 pm, followed by the men's game against Rider at 7:00 pm.
