NEW ROCHELLE, NY - Iona College men's soccer head coach Fernando Barboto announced the appointment of James Quiroga as an assistant coach for the 2013 season.  Quiroga joins the staff after serving as head coach of the Purchase and Mount Saint Vincent men's soccer programs.

“James was part of the beginning here at Iona, building the foundation and changing the culture," said Barboto.  "He has gone on to build two Division III college programs as a head coach, and we are happy to have him come back and help strive for a championship.”

Quiroga also coaches at FC Westchester, one of the most elite youth soccer programs in the country. Quiroga has been with FC Westchester since 1997. In that time he’s led his teams to six New York State championships.
