Twenty Track Athletes Named MAAC All-Academic

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Twenty Iona College outdoor track and field student-athletes - 10 from both the men's and women's squad - were named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference All-Academic team for their performances in the classroom this season.

Graduate students Jenny Kurz and Hollie Rowland, senior Marion Joly-Testault, juniors Shannon Christie, Tara Jameson, Katie Niblock, and Courtney Veilleux and sophomores Erica Fellin, Margaret Moore, and Regina Neumeyer represented the women's squad.

Graduate student Mitch Goose, senior Matt Bayley, juniors Ronan Callagy, Brendan Farrell, and Reed Kochanek and sophomores Jake Byrne, Robert Glowacky, Andrew Kowalsky, Michael O'Dowd, and Otis Ubriaco represented the men's squad.

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
