ANNAPOLIS, MD - The Iona College golf team sit in 18th place shooting a 310 (+26) after day one at the Navy Spring Invite at the Naval Academy Golf Course.  George Washington is in first after shooting a team score of 291 (+7).

Junior Andrew Graham shot a five-over 76 and sits in 48th place after round one while classmate Scott Gallo is a shot behind after shooting a six-over 77, and is tied for 58th. Junior Dylan Newman is 73rd after shooting a seven-over 78.  Junior Doug Hoppe is tied for 79th after shooting an eight-over 79 while sophomore Jordan Kral shot an 11-over 82.

The Navy Spring Invite concludes Sunday when the teams head out for another 18 holes.
