BUFFALO WILD WING STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK –Douglas Stephens, Men’s Soccer 

Iona College men’s soccer Senior Douglas Stephens was named the Buffalo Wild Wings Student-Athlete of the Week after scored three goals as the Gaels picked up two league wins this weekend.

Against Manhattan,Stephens evened the game up at one in the 39th minute setting the stage for the Gaels to pick up a 2-1 win in overtime over the Jaspers. Against Saint Peter's, Stephens found the net twice, beginning with a goal in the 41st minute to give Iona a 2-1 lead over the Peacocks. His second goal of the game, in the 66th minute, proved to the difference as the Gaels held on for a 3-2 victory.
