Jordan Washington - Men's Basketball

Senior Jordan Washington was named the 2017 MAAC Championship's Most Outstanding Player in conclusion of the men's basketball program's historic run to its second consecutive league title.  In the crowning game against the No. 4 seeded Siena Saints,

Washington posted a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds that included a 7-of-8 performance from the free throw line.  Two of those makes from the charity stripe came in the final two seconds to seal the one-point NCAA Tournament clinching win.

In the semifinals against No. 2 Saint Peter's, Washington scored 16 of his 22 points in the second half, shooting 6-of-9 from the field in the period.  He added six rebounds and four steals while netting eight from the free throw line.

On Friday, Mar. 3 in the MAAC Championship quarterfinals, Washington reached a career milestone against the No. 6 seeded Broncs when her become the 38th student-athlete in program history to reach the 1,000-point club.  He finished the game with 16 points.
