The Iona Gaels Capital Improvements Fund was created to strengthen and secure Iona's prominent intercollegiate athletics program by improving essential athletic facilities on campus. This fund has already provided the means for several imperative projects that were completed over the past four years. Previous projects have included the renovations made to our Sports Medicine Facility and the completion of the Rice Oval project. Rice Oval is now a state-of-the-art Field-Turf facility and home to our NCAA Division I softball program.
One of the latest additions to the project is the completion of the Hynes-East Locker Rooms. The project is currently completed and features team-specific locker rooms. What's unique about being able to continue to support this project is that it provides all contributors that pledge a minimum gift of $1,000 to the Iona Gaels Capital Improvements Fund with the opportunity to name a locker for yourself, a friend or loved one in the Hynes Athletics Center.
This is a great opportunity for alumni, friends, parents and supporters of Iona College Athletics to be able to put their mark on the Hynes Athletics Center East Locker Rooms.
