NEW ROCHELLE, NY - The Iona College softball team has announced the date for its annual Winter clinic. The clinic will be held Sunday, January 10^th and offer three different sessions. 

Session 1 is an all-skills clinic from 9:00AM-11:00AM.  This clinic session is for 5-8 year old boys and girls (Also beginner 9 year olds).  The Gaels will cover fundamentals of catching, throwing, fielding, hitting, base running and more!  Athletes should provide their own equipment. Cost: $60

Session 2 is a hitting clinic from 12:00PM-3:00PM. The clinic is for 9-18 year old girls. This will cover all aspects of hitting and short game.  It will include lectures, drills, and demonstrations to improve offensive skills. Athletes attending the offensive clinic should bring their own helmet and bat to ensure their own enjoyment of instruction. Cost: $75

Session 3 is an all-skills defensive clinic from 3:30PM-6:30PM.  The defensive clinic is for 9-18 year old girls. This will cover the fundamentals of all defensive positions with additional emphasis on drill work at specific positions.  Athletes attending should provide their own glove. Cost:  $75
