On Sunday, September 12, 2010, members of the Iona College Men's and Women's Water Polo team served as life guards assisting the swim participants get into and out of the water during the Toughman triathlon.  They assisted with setting-up the event and they stuck around for clean-up as well.

The Water Polo teams very own Head Coach Brian Kelly was not only a volunteer but he was a participant in the Triathlon.  He completed a 1.2 mile swim, a 13.1 mile run, and a 56 mile bike ride within 5 hours and 43 minutes.  All volunteers had an amazing time helping out with this event.
