On Saturday, March 26th the Iona College Men’s soccer team took part in a fundraising walk for vasculitis. The Men’s team participated as a group, and raised a significant portion, contributing to the total dollar amount of over 1000 dollars for the walk. Vasculitis is a group of diseases that affect the veins. Vasculitis causes inflammation of the veins and is difficult to treat – often only chemotherapy provides relief. The Iona Men’s soccer team is proud to have contributed to such a worthwhile cause this semester.
