Brian Chenoweth joins the staff full-time in 2011-12 after spending the 2010-11 campaign as a volunteer assistant for the Gaels.

A USAFTF Level 1 Certified Coach, Chenoweth helped mentor the Gaels to both men's and women's cross country MAAC Championships. It was the 20th straight title for the men and sixth straight for the women. The men's program went on to finish second at Northeast Regionals and continued extended its Top 10 finish stretch to nine years with an eighth place performance in Terre Haute.

Prior to his arrival in New Rochelle, Chenoweth was a volunteer assistant at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa in the spring of 2010. The Storm saw one Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion and five all-conference performers.

Chenoweth earned his degree in finance in 2009 from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He was a five-time NCAA Division III All-American in cross country and track for the Knights. Chenoweth also earned three All-Region selections in cross country and was a nine-time IIAC champion in both cross country and track.
