Iona College Athletics and our men's and women's soccer programs are pleased to announce the dates for the 18th Annual IONA COLLEGE SPRING FEVER CLASSIC outdoor tournament.

Get ready for the spring season by playing outdoors on the grass-like field turf surface at Mazzella Field, located at the center of the Iona College campus in New Rochelle, New York.  The tournament is a seven-aside (six players plus a goalkeeper) round-robin.  Each team will play at least 90 minutes in overall game time.  Awards will be presented to the champions of each age group.

Girls:
Saturday, March 10th

   1pm-5pm U12

   1pm-5pm U10

The entry deadline is Friday, February 24th, 2012.  The tournament fee is $350 and must be paid in full by the entry deadline to confirm your team's acceptance.

Also be sure to make a copy of the check you send for your own records.

No refunds will be given to teams that withdraw from the tournament after the deadline date of Friday, February 24th, 2012. 

The tournament schedule will be posted a week prior to the tournament on the Iona College Soccer website (www.icgaels.com) Directions to campus can also be found on the website.  With such a high demand to enter, the sooner your entry fee is received the sooner your spot will be secured and confirmed.  Teams accepted to this tournament will be on a first-come first-served basis. Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
-Players can use flats, turf shoes or molded cleats on the Iona field turf-but not screw-ins.  

-Field will be plowed in case of snow but otherwise rain or shine the tournament is a go. 

-Indoor change facilities are available (i.e. bathrooms, locker rooms, hallway to keep warm)

-The games end at the buzzer, referees will not allow for extra time.   

-We will do our best to seed the teams accordingly... Please make sure to fill out application appropriately.
