EDISON, NJ - Iona College women's basketball freshman Joy Adams earned her third straight MAAC Rookie of the Week honor for her performance in the Gaels' 73-47 win over Colgate last week.

Adams posted her third consecutive double-double in the Gaels' convincing victory over the Raiders Friday afternoon.  In the contest, Adams connected on five field goals, finishing with 10 points, to go along with 12 rebounds and three steals.  Overall this season, Adams is averaging 11.6 pts and 10.2 in 10 games for the Maroon & Gold. 

Iona is back in action Dec. 30, when they travel to Stony Brook for a 2:00 pm tip.
