OAKLAND, CA - Iona College men's basketball alum Scott Machado made his Golden State Warriors' debut in Game 4 of the squad's NBA Playoffs First Round matchup against the Denver Nuggets. Machado connected on his lone field goal attempt and grabbed a rebound in three minutes of action off the bench in the Warriors' 115-101 win over the Nuggets.

Machado joined the squad Sunday afternoon after completing his stint with the Warriors' D-Leauge affiliate. The Santa Cruz Warriors dropped the best-of-three NBADL Championship series to Machado's former D-League squad, the Rio Grande Vipers Saturday night. In the two games of the championship series, Machado averaged 16.0 points, 2.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds shooting 11-for-23 from the field and 5-for-10 from behind the arc.  He was also recently named to the 2013 NBA D-League All-Rookie First Team.

Machado signed a 10-day contract with Golden State on Apr. 7 and assigned to Santa Cruz for the team's playoff run. He was picked up for the remainder of the regular season and playoffs following the contract's expiration.

This season, Machado appeared in the NBA Developmental League with both Rio Grande and Santa Cruz and in the NBA with Warriors and in six games with the Houston Rockets
