The Iona College women's water polo team, in affiliation with Campus Ministries, gathered at Montgomery House with other volunteers to prepare items for Midnight Run, which distributes food and clothing to the homeless in New York City.

With the assistance of Campus Ministries, the team folded and categorized donated clothing that would later be handed out to New York's homeless to keep them warm during the coldest part of the year.  With the team's help, the Midnight Run was a success.  The team donated money to the cause in addition to volunteering their time.  The money donated helped to raise funds for future volunteer opportunities within the local community.

The team hopes its efforts were warmly received and that other local groups within the New Rochelle community can take the time to help those in need.
