Iona College men's soccer senior MF/F Fernando Liserra has been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Additionally, Liserra was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Men's College Team of the Week for the week ending Oct. 25.  Liserra totaled six points in a 3-0 week for Iona, recording one goal and four assists.  He fed both goals in the 2-0 win at Fairfield, scored the game-winner against Manhattan, and added another assist against Saint Peter's.

The Gaels are currently unbeaten in MAAC action with a 5-0 conference record.  The squad returns to action on Oct. 30, taking on Loyola on the road at 3:00 pm.
