ANNAPOLIS, MD – On the second day of the Navy Spring Invite, the Iona College golf team finished the two-day competition in 19th place, shooting 635 as a team (+67) at the Naval Academy Golf Course.
Junior Dylan Newman finished tied for 33rd, after shooting a five-over 76 for a two-day total of 154 (+12). Junior Andrew Graham shot a four-over 76 on day two finished tied for 73rd with an overall score of 160 (+18). Junior Doug Hoppe tied for 80th after shooting an eight-over 79, finishing with a two-day score of +20. Sophomore Jordan Kral mirrored his day one score, shooting an 11-over 82 to finished tied for 90th with a two round score of 164 (+22). Junior Scott Gallo rounded out the Iona golfers, finishing tied for 96th with a two round score of 165 (+23).
Iona next competes at the Peacock Invitational Monday at the Neshanic Golf Club in Neshanic, NJ.
