Iona College volleyball head coach John Killingbeck announced his Winter Skills Clinic to be held at Hynes Gymnasium on Jan. 8, 2012. The clinic will be focused on teaching the game and improving the skills throughout the three hour session.
Skills that will be worked on are hitting (approaches, arm swings, and different shots), setting (hands, footwork, back setting and arch/tempo of sets), serving (standing float, jump float, and jump serving), and passing (platform, eye work, and passing form).

Clinic Director: Jonathan Killingbeck - Head Volleyball Coach Iona College Coach Killingbeck came to Iona College in August 2011. Before coming to Iona, coach Killingbeck had coached at D1, D2, D3, and NJCAA. Also worked camps for Penn St. Texas, Nebraska, Stanford, and the University of Washington.
Instructors: Alyssa Morales - Assistant Volleyball Coach Iona College Coach Morales is in her second stint as assistant coach for Iona. Coach Morales was a setter for the Gaels from 2005-2008. She ranks fourth all-time in school history with 2,357 assists.
Don Perkins - Head Volleyball Coach Kean University Coach Perkins has been the Head volleyball coach at Kean University since August of 2009. In 2010 he led them to their first 20 win season since 2002. Before Kean, Coach Perkins was the first assistant at Mississippi State.
