BUFFALO WILD WING STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Andrew Kowalsky,Men’s Track
Iona College Track freshman Andrew Kowalsky was named the Buffalo Wild Wings Student-Athlete of the Week after finishing fifth in the 5K at IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Princeton.
Kowalsky's time of 14:07.57 was a personal best for the rookie making his debut at IC4A's. Kowalsky was just over two seconds behind the race winner, George Mason's Everett Hackett. Duke's Domenick DeMatteo was second overall. Kowalsky beat his previous personal best by four seconds, a mark set at the same track earlier in the season at the Sam Howell Invitational.
