Members of the Iona College Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving team and Women’s Basketball teams came out on Sunday, September 21, 2008 to volunteer at the Westchester Triathlon.

The Westchester Triathlon is a non-profit 501(c) organization formed to host a national event that raises money for various charities. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The Friends of Claire, The Rye YMCA, Challenged Athletes Foundation, and The Wounded Warrior Project, all of which are non-profit organizations, benefited from this year's Westchester Triathlon.

The Westchester triathlon had over 1400 participants in this year’s event.
