PRINCETON, NJ - The Iona College men's outdoor track team competed at the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton University. Senior Mitch Goose led an octet of Gael performers at the meet.
Goose was fifth overall in the 1500-meter elite race. His time of 3:45.70 was the fourth fastest in his heat. Rookie Jake Byrne finished first in his heat in the event, clocking a 3:51.00. Junior Chris Stogsdill ran a 3:54.22.
Freshman Quinn Raseman (4:04.63) was 44th in the 1,500-meter open race while classmate Reed Kochanek finished seventh overall (1:56.00) in the 800-meter open event.
Rookies Otis Ubriaco (15:23.00) and Nick Lachman (15:23.48) and junior Daniel Lipus (15:26.73) rounded out the Gaels' performances in the 5,000-meter run.
