BUFFALO WILD WING STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK – Regina Neumeyer, women’s track and field  

Freshman Regina Neumeyer led three Iona College women's track performers at 2012 BU Terrier Invitational hosted by Boston University. Neumeyer set a Maroon & Gold freshman record in the mile, her second of the season.

Neumeyer's time of 4:42.05 was good for fourth overall and the third fastest mile in school history. She was less than five seconds off the race winner, Dartmouth's Abbey D'Agostino. The time was third to teammate Heidi Gregson's top two times of 4:40.08 and 4:41.60 set in 2010 and 2011. She topped former Gael McKayla Plank's freshman standard of 4:53.12 set in 2006.
