STUDENT-ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Natalie Finnerty, Women's Outdoor Track

Iona College women's outdoor track senior Natalie Finnerty finished fourth in the 3000-meter steeple chase at the 2011 Colonial Relays at the College of William & Mary.

Finnerty finished with a time of 10:54.39, the second sub-11 minute mark in Iona history. Former Iona standout Annelore Desaedeleer holds the school record at 10:47.48 set at the Penn Relays in 2009.  The times were also personal bests for both performers.

The Gaels finished 23rd with 15 points out of the 40 teams that scored in the event.
