New Rochelle, NY - The Iona College baseball and softball teams home contests scheduled for this afternoon have been canceled due to weather. Baseball was scheduled to take on Stony Brook at Salesian Field while softball was matched up in a double header with Sacred Heart on Rice Oval.

Both games have been canceled with no makeup date scheduled.

Iona's softball team completes its regular season this weekend on the road at Fairfield in an important MAAC doubleheader. With a doubleheader sweep, the Maroon & Gold will clinch a berth in the 2008 MAAC Championship at DeLuca Field in Stratford, CT.

The Gaels' baseball squad completes a seven-game homestand with a three-game series with Niagara at Salesian Field.
