On Friday, November 20th, the Iona College Women's Basketball team took on Pacific University at noon in the Hynes Athletics Center. Present at the game was the Naomi Berri Diabetes Center to help raise awareness and give fans helpful information on the illness. November is actually National Diabetes Awareness month, so it was a nice treat to have the center there, who was kind enough to give a special presentation before the game to our younger fans from PS111 in the Bronx.

It was a great day at the Hynes Athletics Center, the Gaels pulled off an impressive 76-54 victory, and the Naomi Berri Diabetes Center was able to raise a few hundred dollars from the generation donations of the fans, and our special guests for PS111.
