NEW ROCHELLE, NY - With a combination of team GPA, community service, brother/sister events, success on the field and Maroon Maniac game attendance, the Iona College women’s lacrosse team has been honored as the Fall 2016 Semester winner of Pride Points by SAAC.

The women’s lacrosse program, led by Head Coach Michelle Mason, participated in community service events such as Play 4 Kay, Light the Night, Lift-O-Ween, Thanksgiving Baskets and IonaTHON in addition to maintaining a team GPA above a 3.0. The program also supported their brother team, men’s water polo, by attending competitions and holding collaborative events.

Every semester, Iona SAAC awards teams with Pride Points. These points come from a blend of team GPA, community service, brother/sister events, success on the field, and Maroon Maniac game attendance.
